"We absolutely loved our stay at the beautiful Hotel Torre Sant'Angelo! This family-run, charming hotel has the most beautiful view imaginable. We loved the delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, amazing pools, and nearby Sorgeto Beach. Pietro and Umberto were incredibly helpful with planning our day, restaurant and beach recommendations, and lifts to town. "Americo and his family were very nice and attentive, he gave us a lift to Negombo thermal park, made some calls to a local boat rental company and offered to take me and my family to the port at the end of our stayed. Just keep in mind that the hotel is 30 min walking from forio port "

"There are nearly 30 steps to enter the building. I booked last minute not knowing it would be difficult to enter the building to receive the key. I was lucky the housekeeper was there to help me. Phone number listed on Expedia had no service (taxi driver was trying to call for me). No regular reception hours.
Room was clean, but very basic. Not soundproof as listed - could hear TVs from other rooms, and all coming and going (but it was not a problem).
Conveniently located. Pool on rooftop is a large hot tub with cold water. Better to enjoy the beach."
"I had hopes when they were able to accommodate an early check in but was quickly let down. The stated amenities are fraudulently portrayed. There is no restaurant except at the very bottom of a cliff not on premises. The hotel is in extremely poor shape and strongly smelled of sewer. There was not WiFi, no working elevator, no beach shuttle, not even water in the room or nearby to purchase.
The pools were in dire need of a cleaning.
The smell was overwhelming causing us to leave early. Do not stay here."
