"Best place I ever stayed at. Amazingly beautiful environment with water, mountain and field views. Amazing owners and staff with a breakfast feast that caters to each guests preference with lots of fresh fruit from their organic garden. Adelia and Guy were readily available to make excellent recommendations on activities, help book rental car/taxi or whatever came up. Farm animals on property . "Host was very gracious, welcoming, quite responsive, and available. The grounds are beautiful and the unit is a short walk from shops, restaurants, and parks. A slight drawback was uneven heating in different areas though overall it was quite comfortable."

"I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"My family stayed at Pedro’s place - The Spot from July 4-July 8. We didn’t want to leave. This was by far our favorite place we rented! The house was perfect for our family- with two bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and pool / hot tub area. The rooftop pool and hot tub was such a nice amenity to have. Pedro was super helpful, recommending restaurants and hikes. We really appreciated the welcome treats as well. Definitely recommend Pedro’s place to all. We would definitely come back and stay...

"Manger of the hotel were helpful when was told we were denial we were SHOCKED but one day we stayed diff. hotel but went back next day. We were disappoints that we tried to canceled house rental they refused cost me 500$ for not using this house . we did tried to cancelled almost a week.Others were helpful and respected each other. "Had a great five night stay. At check in we were greeted by Elsa and Alexandra at the reception desk. Both of these ladies are true ambassadors of the hotel and the island. They were so pleasant, informative and willing to go out of their way to ensure we were made aware of all important things like tours, car rental, in house needs, restaurants, shopping, etc. It was a great way to start our visit. Our room was very good, large and quiet despite overlooking the harbour. The room and the entire hotel is spotless. Staff are constantly cleaning all areas of the facility. The breakfast area is very well managed with staff constantly clearing and cleaning tables and replenishing food. As for the staff in the hotel, there wasn’t one who didn’t greet us with pleasantries. It really appeared as though they all enjoyed their jobs and were dedicated to ensuring the guests were treated with respect. Amenities like a constant supply of bottled water, coffee supplies, daily cleaning, plush towels, robes, etc. were all part of an excellent stay. I would highly recommend the Hotel and would most definitely stay there again should we return. "
