"Best place to stay if flying out of Vancouver and you’re out of town. Always call the hotel direct to get car parking while away. Better than any other park and fly if you need a hotel. Transport to YVR both ways included. "

"Thehotel, which we stayed at 3 weeks previously, was clean , the staff helpful and friendly. However, on our previous visit, they had a nice restaurant and bar. This was closed days before our arrival with no notice to us. Apparently, there was an issue with new management and ao the restaurant was closed. It would have been nice to be advised of that before we arrived after 24 hrs on airplanes in transit!"

"We were attracted to your place due to your pet policy and travelling with our 2 dogs. The room was very clean. We were happy with the availability of amenities. Where it went downhill was the too small area for dogs that came to relieve themselves. In the tiny grassed/dirt space provided, another large dog and owner had not cleaned up after themselves and the hotel had not checked the grounds. I stepped in a pile of poop after it was too dark to see. Not aware, walked it in the building itself. I was so upset and it ruined our stay. Now we, as many others love our dogs and travel with them often. I was very grateful your place allowed pets. My recommendation to you moving forward is to organize a larger spot, close to the building for late night trips outdoors with our dogs. Dogs prefer grass, not cement or dirt. With a prepared small grassed area, there also must be a person to check that it remains clean. And the chances are, clean checks will see most all dog parents clean up after their furballs. There are a few owners that are disrespectful of others and therefore do not pick up after their dogs. However, for the next patrons to your place to enjoy your pet policy they expect your grounds to be clean, including no poop there to be stepped in. Otherwise, an outstanding place for us to stay. Other than that prior dog’s owner and his/her abuse of your grounds for their dogs needs, we’ll happily come again. Thank you, Martina Zuidema"

"Have stayed at the Abercorn Inn in its various configurations numerous times over the years. It always meets our requirements as a basic one night layover, conveniently close to YVR. It is not a five star luxury resort, nor does it claim to be, but this is an older hotel, clean and comfortable with basic amenities. Staff are pleasant, rooms clean. The continental breakfast is decent. We feel safe here and will stay again in the future."

"This was my 2nd stay in 3 months. I was so happy that my room was ready for an early check in. I love spending quality time in Steveston. I had a riverfront suite this time. Only problem, it was really cold and windy. Love to have sat on the patio and watched the bundled up joggers run by. "
