"Eilert Smith Hotel exceeded our expectations!!! This is a Luxury Boutique Hotel. They treat you like royalty right when you walk in the door. I would definitely stay there again in Stavanger. It was the best of all places we stayed in Norway. It didn’t have the most amenities or even the best views but it made up for it in service and quality of the room and everything in the room. "We enjoyed our stay, and the very central location, with several restaurants, a new Irish pub, and the Christmas market metres away. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The "julefrokost"was plentiful with a wide array of traditional Norwegian Christmas dishes. Our only complaint is that the food was on the cold side for our tastes, even when we showed up at opening time. We used the exercise room, and also enjoyed the second-floor lounge. "
