DESCRIPTION
Welcome to our gorgeous and cozy 4 bedroom family home located 1 block from the ocean in the heart of Sunset Cliffs!

Step into your back yard, the real gem of this home, through one of two sets of sliding glass doors - one in the living room and one in the main bedroom suite - and you'll find yourself in an outdoor oasis complete with everything you need to relax and entertain. The outdoor kitchen comes equipped with a grill, range top, fridge, and farmhouse sink, while a dining table for six provides the perfect spot for outdoor meals. A broad brick patio surrounds a wood-burning fireplace, while a private hot tub and additional seating areas complete the perfect outdoor space. There's even an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

Inside, you'll find a bright and open space with luxurious touches throughout. Two living rooms, one with a gas fireplace and a large sectional, provide ample space for gathering with family or friends. The gleaming, spacious kitchen boasts acres of granite countertops and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. When it's time to eat, you can choose between dining indoors or out - a dining table for four and barstools for three offer mealtime options.

When it's time to rest, you'll find three comfortable bedrooms in the main house including as well as a charming studio casita with a separate entrance for those seeking a bit more privacy. The casita features air conditioning, a queen bed, a coffee station, and a bathroom.

This home is ideally situated for exploring all that San Diego has to offer - Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Sunset Cliffs, and Cabrillo National Monument are all just a short drive away. Book your stay now and experience the perfect combination of location, luxury, and outdoor living!

THINGS TO KNOW
-Guests must sign a separate e-sign agreement with important terms and conditions and ID and credit card verification is required to complete the booking process.
-There is a unit above the garage/detached bedroom above the backyard that is occupied by long-term tenants. They do not share any spaces with main house guests or have any views into the backyard. The property was designed with privacy for the main house in mind.
-Basic Beach gear provided (beach chairs, beach towels)
-San Diego Airport flight path runs over Ocean Beach. Some airplane noise may be heard; however, departing flights are not permitted between 11:30pm-6:30am. The home is totally worth it!
-There is 1 security camera next to the front door facing out.
-Spa is serviced every Friday and landscaping is serviced every Monday. Neither vendor will need access into the interior of the home.
-Pictured wood fired pizza oven in the backyard is in-op and not for guest use.

ATTENTION
This home is located in a high-density neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. There is a no tolerance policy for excessive noise, occupancy, illegal substances, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please ensure you are comfortable with these terms before booking.

One off-street parking space located in the driveway 33' D x 13' W. There is also ample additional public street parking in the neighborhood. Please be sure to follow all City posted signage if parking on the street.

Lovely and comfortable home
This home is as described. Very nice home, well maintained, very comfortable. The backyard is really nice. I wish we would have had more time to stay and enjoy all this home had to offer. The beds are comfortable. The twin beds were a little squeaky. So close to the beach and Sunset cliffs. Would stay here again.

Bachelorette Getaway
The property was awesome, the backyard space with the hottub was super clutch. The property management was super flexible, allowing one of our group to enter the property slightly ahead of check-in time to decorate for the Bachelorette. Celebrating a milestone
We were in San Diego to celebrate a major milestone for our son who is in the military. The property was perfectly positioned in a beautiful neighborhood and the property fully suited our needs. The house is perfectly maintained and has all the amenities a family needs to enjoy their time on the California coast. Whether in winter or summer, this house has everything you could need to make the most of the seasons and enjoy a relaxing stay. The owners and property management were a pleasure to work with while booking our trip and they were immediately responsive to our questions and needs throughout. I highly recommmend this property

A great house!
This house is unassuming at first but as we got settled into the home, we really enjoyed it. The only drawback was that we couldn’t get the TV in the main room to show local channels and the initial communication wasn’t helpful, so we gave up. Suggest displaying step by step instructions in the home. Otherwise, we would definitely stay here again!!!!

Nice house - poor maintenance service
House has a nice layout and a very nice backyard area. Good for our group of 7 adults and a toddler and infant. Only 2 blocks to sunset cliffs area. Quiet area with plenty of parking in front of the house. The air conditioning was a welcome relief in keeping the house cool on hot days. Nicely furnished as shown in the listing photos. We had a major issue in that the refrigerator was not working on our arrival. After a number of attempts calling and texting VACASA they delivered a compact (dorm size) refrigerator as a substitute which was completely inadequate for our group. A free multiple calls and texts a refrigerator service man came the second day of our stay. After a quick check he indicated that the refrigerator could not be repaired quickly until a replacement compressor was found. We were stuck using a small ice chest we found in the backyard along with the mini-fridge they had delivered for the remainder of our stay. On Sunday (5 days into our stay) evening a serviceman showed up at 6 pm and said he had a replacement compressor to install. He then indicated that it would take a minimum of 2 hours and would likely be quite noisy. Since we were scheduled to depart the next morning we requested that he not disturb us during dinner and return after our departure. We found that VACASA was very poor in communicating what they might be doing to address the issue. It was a nice house, but our issue with the non working refrigerator and the response of the management agency left us with a very disappointing experience.

Excellent outdoor space
Great outdoor space in an ideal climate. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen/home in great location. It was quite spendy but we had a great stay and offer only two concerns: The check in instructions were to obtain a key from the lockbox and it worked poorly/unreliably in front door lock. We discovered the code for the lockbox also worked on the front door keypad. Not very clear written instructions and contact did not seem to know either. The separate bedroom has living quarters in the backyard has tenants above that came in and made a lot of noise 2-3am each night.

Wonderful
What a lovely home. My family and I stayed at this home for an extended weekend this May and being San Diego natives, we were quite impressed with this house. The house is extremely well stocked, decorated beautifully, with more than the average rental. We made big dinners every night and the house has every size pan you could ever need, including casserole dishes, bowels, pans, etc, and all the appliances were very nice. There was not a coffee pot, only a Keurig, so we actually bought a small coffee pot at Target to use for the weekend. There was ample space for everyone throughout the house, including the casita in the back. The back yard is well manicured and the flow of the house is very conducive to family time. There’s a wood burning fire place in the back, as well as a pizza oven and full outdoor kitchen. The location is absolutely wonderful, only a few blocks to the cliffs and a little over a mile to the actual sand beach. Although, there are a few local known beaches beneath the cliffs if you don’t mind a little effort. There are two very close liquor stores, within a couple blocks, and the neighborhood is very quiet. Vacasa was responsive to any questions, so that was appreciated however we wish more care was taken to accommodate a two hour earlier check-in. We had a small baby who hadn’t napped during our long day of travel and although we had arrived to the house two hours early, we were not allowed an early check in. We received general responses from Vacasa that if an earlier check in was available, we would be notified. This, we had to sit outside the house until 4pm but no one was there cleaning it or doing any work so we were disappointed with their management of our request. Not knowing the status of the house and continuing to give auto-responses seems like a lazy way of doing business. The only MAJOR issue we had was that there are actually other people LIVING at the house in the room/unit above the casita. We were quite surprised to have two women walking around in the drive way and with clear view of the backyard. It was never once mentioned in the description and no one bothered to inform us at any point. This was extremely disappointing and dampened how “at home” we could be knowing strangers had a clear view of the backyard and into the living room. We found that to be a very big lapse in communication and something that should have been fully conveyed to potential renters.

California Vacation rental (Sunset Cliffs).
The house was updated and contained every essential you could possibly need. Most beautiful house I ever stayed at from house to yard. I was so comfortable and relaxed . Every day I noticed something else about the house so unique . My family enjoyed their stay and were so happy I found a beautiful home in a lovely settings . Every nigh we could we walked down to the cliffs for a beautiful sunset.
