This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with Vacasa Seasonals, Inc.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Amazing Roof Top Deck!!!
Perfect location for people who like to have fun. One Block from the beach and one block from Newport its the perfect location for people who like to walk to bars, restaurants, cafe's and the beach. The roof top deck has a view of the ocean and is worth the price all on its own. Cant wait to stay here again. Its close to a lot of nightlife so I would not say its a quiet area but if you like fun its the place to be.

Great Location, lots of issues
We stayed at this property last summer, hence why we chose to stay again this year. However, when we arrived we found a large hole in the secondary bathroom ceiling, and the floor covered with paper, obviously fixing a leak or something in the ceiling. We proceed to have three bad leaks from the ceiling in that bathroom, in the main bathroom and the floor in the master bedroom was leaking water up through the floor boards, and leaking out to the second floor balcony. We were unable to keep anything on that floor (like suitcases etc, as they would get soaked) All of the cushions on the roof top deck were very beat but, many with holes and rips. The location is great, and easy to get to the beach and attractions in Ocean Beach, however the property itself was not up to snuff. When we called the property manager regarding the leaks they said they would call us back and get them fixed, they did not call back and when I called them they said they could not find anyone to come out. They gave us a credit for one night, upon complain further they credited one more night. Honestly, if we had been advised of the issues prior to our stay, we would have decided to stay elsewhere. We won't be back.

Super Summer Get Away!
Great place to say, quick walk to the beach. Love having two bathrooms, even for just two people. The cushions on the upper deck need to be replaced, but the view was awesome. We will stay again next summer.

Beware of this Property
Where do i begin with this FOREVER NIGHTMARE First things first and this applies to a rentals, do not assume that the listing accurately represents what you are in good faith renting Get there and while walking up the outside stairs i observe that both screens having been ripped and frames broken in an attempt to open the windows. Open the door and the first things you see through kitchen windows is a broken down bamboo fence ( i’ll get back to that ) attempting the screen the roof of the attached pizza pub. Instead you are greeted by a minimum of 4 exhaust spewing smoke with grease running down the sides, 2 discarded satellite dishes, old mops, old planters with the dead plants inside them, old floor runners plus other garbage. Go to the bedroom to unpack turn on the dimmer switch that controls the 8 can lights in the room which is broken so its either ON or OFF. There is no other lights except for some tacky white Xmas lights on the wall. Pull the bamboo shades up and the backing is in spreads, missing glass blocks in the shower as well Get up in the morning to get a drink and take the dog out and down the steps from the roof top deck come 2 homeless that exited though that broken down bamboo fence and to the pizza pub roof and disappear. Go to the freezer to get ice and of course the as advertised ice maker doesn’t work Call VRBO and tell them of these issues and i want to be relocated, they advised they wil make the “a priority” and will be on it. About 10 hours later the property management company call and the advised that the “operations team” will be keeping an eye on the place, I’m pissed. I advised them that the roof top deck is three floors out and they can’t see it…”our operations team will keep an eye on it”…”but they only work til 230am”. I’m speechless So I decide to dig into the property more and begin to compare the “59 anemities” and the pictures to reality The listing says it sleeps 4, I’d assume 2 in the bed and 2 on a pull out sofa, well the sofa is not a pull out you could sleep one on it only if he’s your enemy because it is the dirtiest nastiest couch, looks like its been used a few time on a porn set -broken ice maker -no beautifully strung Edison lights on the roof deck -deck furniture is filthy -no beautiful throw rugs or colorful pillows -absolutely ZERO cleaning supplies not even aa broom but there was a an of black beans in the cupboard -smoke detectors broken - 3/4” of dirt on the a/c

Very nice, private and has everything you need. Was a 10 minute walk to my daughter,s house. And rooftop patio with grill was really nice. Negatives: my biggest problem was the floors were dusty, needed a good vacuuming but I texted and they were cleaned the next day. Must be because we had a 1 year old crawling around that they still felt dirty. I bought swifter pads and cleaned them myself. Also the open shower got water all over the floor, could use a shower curtain. Otherwise the kitchen is big and has everything and nice tv area, 1 1/2 bathrooms are a plus! Would definitely stay there again!

Great spot
We enjoyed our stay here. The unit is spacious. It was fun being above pizza port and within easy walking distance of the various bars and restaurants. The beach is right down the street as well. You’re kinda right in the party zone here and there are plenty of street creatures around so I’d say it’s more of a place for young people who want to enjoy the bars/restaurants rather than a family beach spot. The roof deck is awesome, plenty of furniture and great view. All in all we enjoyed it.

Loved OB!
We had a great time staying here! I loved that we had plenty of space for our family to relax in between going to the beach and checking out the great OB shops and restaurants. It was great having two bathrooms and the rooftop was spectacular. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything and a quick walk to the beach. We even enjoyed the downstairs brewery a couple times during our stay. Parking was challenging at times but we really didn't need the car to enjoy OB. There are some strange characters around the area but that's just part of OB's charm! We would definitely stay again.

Can’t beat the location
We have been visiting OB for many years and have always stayed at VRBO type properties. This is by far the best location. Loved that we were only a block from the beach and lots of great restaurants and shops. If you know OB you know the quirks- homeless people, not a lot of parking options…..location above pizza port was amazing. Not only do they have great food and beverages it was actually awesome smelling the pizza everyday! Super comfy bed, could have used a few more bathing towels but we made do! The rooftop deck amazing!! Loved spending mornings drinking coffee and evenings with a glass of wine watching the sunset.

Waited over 3 hrs to get into the house, when they finally gave us the green light to go in they gave us the wrong code! This house is managed by a management company Grocery store within walking distance was nice, pizza place below was okay but not great pizza. Homeless and sketchy people everywhere. Beach within walking distance but didn’t feel comfortable hanging out there. The house is cute and the roof top deck is awesome. The bed is so incredibly squeaky that if your a light sleeper sleep on the couch.

Perfect OB getaway!
We had an amazing stay at Forever Summer! The spacious/open floor plan & huge rooftop deck with the beautiful view of the ocean made it the best getaway to socially distance and relax. The wonderful smell of pizza was a pleasant bonus. It was very kid & pet friendly. If you go to the beach early in the morning it was very easy to socially distance but got crowded later in the day but relaxing back at the condo/rooftop were perfect mid day & evenings. There are tons of restaurants nearby that you can call your order into as well as the Pizza Port just downstairs so just brought everything back & had all meals on the rooftop. We thought the place was very clean and had no issues with ants like previous guests had commented. Parking was also not a major issue and easily found close parking...several times right in front of the building.

Close to everything/communication problems
First, the good: This property is in the heart of OB. If you're not familiar with the area, it's very busy and bustling. The main drag is one block away and so is the beach. It's exactly what we were looking for. If noise and a few homeless people hanging around nearby are going to bother you, then this is not the place for you. This property is on the second floor above Pizza Port Brewery and we spent lots of time on the rooftop deck above. It was a large condo and the extra 1/2 bath and laundry in the condo were perfect for our family of 4. The bad: Property listing is incorrect, as it states that it "sleeps 4". The property management did not respond to multiple email messages and phone messages asking for clarification. Once I went ahead and booked, they finally responded and argued with me, saying that THEIR site lists it correctly but they'd offer an air mattress without charge (ya think?!). Parking is also offered, although I agree they say not guaranteed. Guests can use a spot in the Pizza Port parking lot below. While I realize there may be times the lot is full, we had a reasonable expectation that we'd have access to a spot for at least some of our 4 night stay. This was one of the factors that went into us deciding to rent a vehicle vs Uber. When we arrived, the parking lot was closed and was now outdoor dining- I get it, and great for them! But did this property give us a heads-up about it before we arrived? No. So we arrive at 2pm on a Saturday and had to circle for nearly an hour until we got lucky enough to find a spot. When I called to complain, they were again almost argumentative about it and kept repeating that parking wasn't guaranteed. Again, I understand that, but they knew the parking lot had been converted to dining and they didn't warn us of that. If we'd known, we would have just taken Uber to our condo. When I asked to talk to a manager, I was told they'd be back in the office "Sunday or Monday", and you guessed it, they never returned my call about this issue or offered any sort of apology or compensation. The furniture on the rooftop deck was dirty, but I kind of expect that when they're just out and exposed to the elements. Investing in furniture covers would have been nice to keep it clean. Overall, my complaints are really more with the property management company vs the property. They just need to be more upfront with guests. The condo itself was great and location can't be beat.

Quarantining near the beach
We live in San Diego and our house was going through a forced remodel. We got this apartment near the water and it was nice. We never used the sun roof but it had a nice view. The area is busy (even during quarantine). The apartment is convenient and well supplied with towels, linens, etc.. and had parking which is a big plus here. The kitchen is great. Overall we enjoyed it. It does have an ant problem. As soon as we reported it management sent us spray and traps, but they were relentless. I would still recommend it.

Sitting on top of the Pizza Port Brew Pub is not an issue since the bedroom is at the other end of the building and the restaurant does get quiet pretty early in the evenings. Rooftop patio is a nice retreat. Easy walk to everything and parking was never much of an issue.

Location is decent and you can see the ocean from roof top deck. Lots of bars & restaurants in walking distance which is nice since parking can be an issue. The unit could have been cleaner & there were lots of ants (and ant traps). Overall all not bad if you want to stay in Ocean Beach. If you prefer a cleaner beach & area, Mission Beach or La Jolla would be a better location.

This was an overall good experience. Communication with the property manager could have been better. Details like check in process and WiFi details were unclear. The property was not very clean, I had to wipe down counters before I could use them and the floors were filthy. The location was amazing. Parking was an issue, would have been nice to have a parking spot designated to the property.

A perfect OB getaway
The best part about this property is its location. It's a one-block walk to the ocean, and only a few blocks walking distance over to Newport Avenue and all of the commercial parts of OB. The apartment is above Pizza Port, which is pretty fun (there's even a little window so you can peek down at the bar!). Most nights it wasn't loud, but we were staying over during the MLB finals, and the night of the Dodgers game was a little loud. However, no noise could be heard from the bedroom, so it didn't disrupt our sleep at all. When walking up the back stairs to the roof deck, there's a *slight* smell of pizza (who doesn't like the smell of pizza?), but you can't smell it inside the apartment at all. The roof deck is really beautiful! It gives a perfect view of the area, and is really nice for watching the sunset. There's also a small balcony off the bedroom, which is great for people watching. However, as with all places in OB, the neighbors are *extremely* close, so it's really important to be conscious of the noise you may be making. There is beach equipment available in the house; we really just used the beach towels, but it's a nice addition to have chairs and some other things available if needed. The kitchen and living room are HUGE! And the kitchen is amazing; all new appliances, huge refrigerator, and even a wine fridge. The bathroom is also very spacious, and there is a half bath in the room where the washer/dryer are located. Detergent for the washer was generously provided by the property's hosts. Guests of this property can use a parking spot in the Pizza Port lot, but it's not guaranteed, so be mindful of that if you're driving around a lot. We were there during OB Oktoberfest, and decided not to drive anywhere that day because we didn't want to lose our spot. We had a couple of very minor issues when we checked in, and property management was quick to respond and address our messages. Very easy to communicate with them, via email or via the app that they have set up. We had a wonderful stay, and if we vacation in OB again, we will absolutely be back to this property!
