"We had a lovely time staying at the property although there were some minor things that could be improved on. A fridge in the room, more than one window opening as we prefer fresh air to air con. The glassware in the bar and restaurant was often cloudy as though the dishwasher needs cleaning/more salt. Disappointing that we had to pay £10 each for the pool.. it would have been better if there was somewhere to enjoy outside space by the pool, we’d have stayed longer, otherwise not really gvfm....

"We had a big party staying here for a family wedding nearby. I don’t usually do these reviews but the Elveden was just outstanding. The place is lovely with nice rooms and a great lounge, bar and restaurant, but it was the staff who made this special. Friendly, competent and endlessly helpful dealing with our group, including arranging two large dinners at short notice. Strongly recommended!"

"The olde windmill inn is a great place to stay. The beer garden is lovely with mature tree's and a feel of tranquility. The pub is a lovely old building with lots of character and little nooks to sit in. The food is nice with traditional dishes on the menu and they offer a great cooked breakfast. The staff are so helpful and freindly and really made us feel welcome. The room was really nice , spacious with everything thing you need. We will be staying here again!"

"Last minute night away , lovely welcome from owner showed us where we could park ,how to get to our room and chatted to us for bit,lovely man. Was about 7:30 pm when arrived so we popped are bags in room and then went local town for food , later after back we went to swimming pool for hour was absolutely lovely sooo warm and inviting spent over hour in there had to ourselves ,back in room we got into comfy beds and watched tv before sleeping , In morning got up early went to sweet little diy...
