"We could not have picked a better hotel from which to explore the idyllic area in and around Sintra. The hotel simply oozes charm, thanks to its venerable age and the high quality of its staff. Staying here is like staying in a hotel from a bygone age. The included breakfast was delicious and abundant. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and could have easily stayed longer. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again should we return to the area."

"Room was bright, clean and well put together, but property the lacked a common indoor area, so we were cooked up in our room as it was drizzling throughout our stay. Property is located in a historical zone with vehicle restrictions meant short walk up hill on partial dirt road dragging our luggage to unrestricted area. Check in was via WhatsApp instructions.
