"This resort delivered in everything I expected. It has the outdoor onsen view, excellent room, and the delicious meals. I really loved the breakfast, because I felt all of the dishes worth eating were delivered well, and they weren't overwhelming or gimicky. Just good ol' Japanese and Japanese-Western dishes. I didn't like the dinner because I felt a lot of them were kind of gimicky. I was a bit disappointed that none of them felt like they were representative of Hokkaido dishes though."

"Little but expensive compare with what they have served. Long queue for self check in, early arrive if you want to join the activities afterwards. Room is big but dust is easy found, air conditioning not quite function. Great for kids, but most of the activities need to register & pay extra. "A really pleasant hotel close to lake Toya. The traditional Japanese room was excellent to experience and the onsen with its both indoor and outdoor baths were phenomenal. There were other amenities such as free bike rentals to take advantage of. "Loved our stay at Spa Shiosai. We only stayed 1 night but I would definilty stay again in the future. We were snowboarding at Rusutsu and it was an easy drive. "It was a traditional Japanese room where you sleep on a futon on a tatami floor. The room was beautiful with a nice sitting balcony room that overlooked the side of the mountain. The only problem was the smell of the dust that gathered on or inside the tatami. We don't know whether this is normal and we just aren't used to sleeping in a tatami room."

"外国人さん向けに作られてるのかなって感じの施設と説明会でしたが特に問題はなかったです。一歳の子供を連れて行きましたがオモチャがいっぱい置いてあってとても喜んでました。寝室は仕切られてるものだと思ってましたが完全にオープンで、大人ならよかったのですが子供だと寝にくくて困りました。 周りの森でも遊べるし、洞爺湖でも遊べるし、レジャーとしては最高です。子供がもう少し大きくなってBBQまでできたら100点です。(スパイス系大量にありました) 近隣にスーパーなどがないのでちょっと不便でした。もう一度泊まりたいかと言われると特には…ですが、面白い洞爺湖旅行ができました良かったです。"
