Most places I've stayed in Japan so far have been pretty mundane, but this place definitely works hard to be different and nice. Glad they had a few laundry machines as well. I'd stay again anytime"

"Kind staff, phenomenal location, and beautiful room! It’s located a short walk away from main shopping streets as well as Nara Park. It did not bother me however it’s worth mentioning that there are multiple bathrooms to share between the guests and the walls are very thin so sounds other make can be heard easily. However, when next in Nara, I will certainly stay here again!"

"Great place to stay, very close to Kintetsu-Nara train station. Lots of places nearby to eat nearby. A short walk to the park. Breakfast and coffee in the morning was very nice. Our only negative point, our room (201) did smell of smoke quite strongly. We believe it was above the smoking room downstairs. Overall a great stay and would recommend highly."
