"This property was exactly what we were looking for. A little gem in the Arizona desert. It felt like an experience rather than just somewhere to lay your head for the night. The room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. It was a smaller room than I was expecting but the view from the balcony over the grounds and beyond were worth every penny. The decor was uniquely south western and colorful, bright and cheerful. The location is great but the city is widely laid out so I recommend a car rental if you want to take in the sights and attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially Brett at the front desk and the restaurant staff will accommodate your dietary needs if you ask. There is a heated pool (in winter) and hot tub, barber (upon request), workout room and breakfast included. Overall, we loved this place. All the little flaws were endearing rather than off-putting and it felt authentic."
