"I had a lovely visit to the Chipeta Lodge and would certainly stay there again. They are in a great location near a large park with a beautiful view. The staff was friendly, the accommodations were clean and unique, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and my room had it's own hot tub. "

"I have stayed here a few years back before the remodel. The new floors look nice, but my shoes stuck to them with every step. It was not that way in the bathroom, so I know my shoes were clean. I don't know if it was the cleaning product that was used, leaving a residue? Had my shoes on the whole time though, because I didn't want to walk in my socks/bare feet. Otherwise, it was a quiet stay with friendly staff."

The owner/manager seemed unaware, but since the breakfast was French Toast, my husband was able to eat it. The following day, I woke up feeling very unwell (happens after 7 years of cancer/60 treatments). The same person asked me if eggs over easy would be ok, and I said no, I was feeling very unwell and would appreciate something light. He became ANGRY and snapped that this is NOT how B&B works. "Well located in Cortez, about a 30 minute drive from Mesa Verde National Park. Room was spacious and I was always able to park outside. WiFi worked well during my stay and check in and check out process was easy."
