"We had a lovely stay at Parador 44. This boutique hotel is conveniently located. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely arranged and the super size shower was wonderful. We also really appreciated the "honor bar" and the yummy continental breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!"
"A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. "

10/10 Excellent
"Very good apart from car park charge at £20 for one night."
"I'm in a wheelchair so requested an accessible room. One of the best/most accessible rooms i've stayed in. There is a big wide ramp out front with plenty of disabled parking. Room was large and open for maneuvering and bathroom had a sink, shower and toilet setup that was well thought out and simply just worked. I even used the pool which had a lift for disabled folks to get in/out. Had a great stay and a great time. Lovely friendly people and very helpful. My wife even pulled the bathroom emergency response by accident (looking for the bathroom light switch in the dark) and there were 2 staff members at my room inside 2 minutes to check on me. They weren't even annoyed, just happy nothing was wrong. They even had me fill out a form at check-in to address the plan in case of emergency/fire procedures when elevators would be shutdown. We agreed a plan and i got a say and signed it. I was very impressed with the whole setup. Would definitely stay again in the future. Starbucks in the lobby was a plus :-) "

6/10 Okay
"Check-in easy, kitchen facilities good, kids pleased about wifi access. Drive big enough to park easily.Decorated to hosts own style throughout to a high standard. Stairs & upstairs carpets lovely and soft to walk on. Beds comfy & it was a quiet neighbourhood. The french doors were hard to shut, hinges had dropped. I contacted owner who was aware of the problem, and said he'd chase up the builder. This should have been fixed before letting out the house. There was a jacuzzi bath, not a jacuzzi in the garden, which unfortunately had a serious leak when filling the bath that if left would have leaked through the floorboards. I brought this to the attention of the owner and he said it was possibly us & we'd caused the water to 'slop out'. I corrected him on this, there was a lot of water when the bath was only a few inches full and had not got into the bath. The fridge & freezer had left over food in, the cooker had been used and not cleaned. Items left in the bathroom bin from cleaning the toilet. The garden really needed tending to. There was a missing garden panel at the bottom of the garden leading straight into a train track. This would be dangerous with younger children. The owners have worked hard on decorating the house but feel the problems mentioned need addressing before lettering out the property further. It would also have been nice to receive an apology for not being able to use the french doors & jacuzzi bath, particularly as it is their selling point."
