"Staff in the restaurant and bar were exceptional. Room was great #6. However, stairs are narrow and a bit hardy to navigate. Restaurant was exceptional with a variety of selections. Stayed as a base and took day trips around the area. Parking was not good. Too small and very limited. Nearby restaurants were exceptional."

"I had an amazing experience at the porch house. The staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and willing to assist as needed. The room was very clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. I even ate at their restaurant and the food was delicious. There is long-term parking down the street that is easy use. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone."

"This is an historic pub/inn that is definitely unique. Rooms small, but workable. Because of the age of the building, lighting is dim and the path to guest rooms is not direct - up one set of stairs, down 3, up 2, down the hall, up another set of stairs. Not a lot of fun with luggage, but ok. Staff helpful. Because I am dealing with some vision issues, improved lighting especially on stairs would be a help. Continental breakfast included with room was sufficient. Dinner at the inn was...

"Property just right, 3 beds and 3 bathrooms which is a rareity, right in the middle of Stow which has lovely eateries in walking distance and within 12 miles several interesting houses and gardens. A very relaxing holiday and enjoyed by all 6 of us."
