"Location wise it was okay. There’s a shopping street downstairs and it’s about a 10min walk from public transport which isn’t too bad unless you have plenty of luggages like we did. "We booked 2 rooms for my family of 6. The rooms are spacious with plenty of counter space and storage. Everything was clean and included slippers and PJ’s and all bathroom amenities. Located just next to Marutamachi subway line (Hotel main door is only metre away from Exit 6 of subway!), it is so easy to connect to anywhere in Kyoto. "The hotel offered a free shuttle to the Golden Temple and bamboo forest. We loved both, but if you have only one day in Kyoto, skip both and go to the 1000 Tori Gates at Fushimi Inari instead.
