"Comfortable, firm beds and pillows. Good breakfast buffet with both western and Japanese options. There are free snacks and coffee in the lounge area, and you have an option to get a light early afternoon meal as well. Hotel is next to a grocery store, where we easily picked up anything else we needed. Staff are courteous and very helpful. Our 8-year-old loved the hotel. We would stay there again."

"Great hotel. Clean, modern and right in the middle of downtown. Short walk to shopping, public transportation, restaurants, etc. The immediate area around the hotel can be a little touristy and obnoxious, but it didn't diminish our time there. Note: don't pay for the breakfast in advance, there are many restaurants & coffee shops in the neighborhood, and you are sure to find something you like very quickly. Recommended!"

"Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel was clean, roomy, and best of all, had a washer/dryer combo unit in the room! This allowed us to pack half of what we needed for a 16 day trip, and did laundry half way through the night before we headed out to Osaka on day 8. Just do small loads so it drys well. We really liked the breakfast buffet every morning, and there was a Starbucks, right around the corner if needed, but their hotel restaurant had the best coffee out of all the placed we tried the entire trip...

"Perfect location for visiting Kyoto. A few minutes down to the market area, where there are loads of restaurants, etc and very easy access to transport or walking to other areas. The hotel was lovely and modern, but keeping the ‘Japanese’ feel. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend. The public bath was lovely and very quiet whenever we used it, and it was very useful having a laundry room available too. "
