"While it took a bit to figure out how to send my checkin luggages (one being a snowboard carrier) transported via Yamato Transport to KIX airport, the staff helped a lot filling out the forms for me and made sure the luggages would arrive the day I checkin for my flight. Public bath was a much needed amenity and same with washer/dryer. Needless to say, the room was comfy but maybe on the small side if there’s 2 or more travelers. Transport to various sights was most convenient by bus. "

"Location wise it was okay. There’s a shopping street downstairs and it’s about a 10min walk from public transport which isn’t too bad unless you have plenty of luggages like we did. My partner and I enjoyed the room, especially the bathroom with the heated toilet seat haha! The fridge was a bit weaker but it didn’t bother us too much. A full/half sized mirror would’ve made the room amazing."

Loved the overall aesthetic, little touches that really elevated the experience - super comfy thick room slippers, nespresso machines, thoughtful mood lighting, lift automatically goes to your floor your room card is scanned. Also extremely clean with various cleaning options you can choose by sticking a magnet to your door. "

"The hotel offered a free shuttle to the Golden Temple and bamboo forest. We loved both, but if you have only one day in Kyoto, skip both and go to the 1000 Tori Gates at Fushimi Inari instead. The room was comfortable but small, as most hotel rooms in Japan are. Note that the hotel is about a 30-minute walk from the centre area. "
