The sunrises, sunsets, the conversations on the deck, the fun times on the water, having thanksgiving dinner in a beautiful dining room with incredible views, the list could go on. This is our second time staying here, and we can't recommend this house and owner, Peter, enough. An absolute pleasure to work with Peter and his family. Thank you for the memories!"

"We had a lovely time! Communication from the owner was timely and helpful. We loved being right on the water while still being totally private with plenty of space for the dogs to romp around. The screened in porches were our favorite places to spend time and the house was incredibly spacious. We would love to enjoy it again in the future with more of our family and friends!"

"This was exactly what I was looking for. The Property is very private and the yard surrounding the house was huge. I found it comfortable and cozy. Randy was very accommodating and asked that you respected his property and clean up after yourself and your pets which is to be expected were I come from, a small ask. He had plenty to offer. The private dock and water access was perfect and being able to us his canoes and kayaks was a very nice extra. One of my favorite things was the very large screened in porch and a large outside shower to clean up. The second-floor bedrooms and bathroom were also very nice. We loved the decor and the antique bottle collection throughout the house. Pretty neat stuff. Randy was easy to contact and very helpful. This is a great place for a family get away and we will be back. Thanks for having us! "

"I booked 2 nights with my parents and grandparents at the island girl getaway. It was possibly the best beach experience I’ve had yet. Tangier is an incredible island rich with history and certainly worth a visit. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the caretaker, Andy was very helpful and kind. We happened to come to the island when the tides were unusually high occasionally throughout the day, yet I would note that our house seemed to be the only one which had no water near it except for part of the backyard but it was very manageable. If you’re considering checking out tangier island I suggest you go for it and for my first ever visit, the island girl was a great place to stay. "

If you are interested in a deeper exploration of this fascinating island, we highly recommend you stay here. The home was recently beautiful renovated and decorated, with pretty much every need met for in home meal preparation. I guarantee you will not need much else! We also highly recommend meal service offered, which will complete this amazing experience for you! P.S. the host was VERY responsive to my numerous questions, responding quickly and courteously!"
