"I booked this break for my wife's big birthday. We stayed for 2 nights on B&B basis. The hotel looked very festive when we arrived as all the Christmas trees had been put up and decorated. "Hotel was clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the use of the swimming pool. Our bedroom and bathroom were both very big. Only things that let it down slightly was the walls in the bedroom were very badly chipped on the corners. But otherwise very happy with our stay. "

Fantastic Location for City Centre

"We had wonderful communication with Emily before our arrival. Her check in details were precise and clear to follow. We had asked about an ironing board and Emily had very kindly left one outside the apartment the next morning. The apartment is situated in a small, gated complex with a dedicated parking stall for the unit. We were really happy with the size of the apartment and the closeness to downtown. It was quiet and peaceful. We were there for 9 days and had some great sunny periods. Unfortunately, there were no patio chairs to use on the small balcony, which would have been nice. The furniture was plentiful but tired and the carpet was dirty and frayed in parts. The bathroom is a good size but with the shower being in a high sided tub, a rubber mat would be very useful. We did have to purchase garbage bags and condiments which we have never had to do in all our previous VRBO’s. Not a big expense but a little inconvenient when you realize there aren’t any. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and Emily is very quick to respond to messages. Thank you for the opportunity to explore and enjoy Norwich and the sights of the east coast."

Beautifully presented city centre apartment in the heart of Historic Norwich

"No communication via Expedia/VRBO but eventually made contact directly. Issue on arrival with no keys or gate entry and it was pouring with rain. Resolved quickly as another arrival had taken all the keys from box!! Reasonably spacious airy flat in good location close to nightlife and shops (but not riverside or cathedral view as advertised) but close to both. Easy walk into all the amenities in town. Stay would have been better if there had been an information pack with WiFi code and how to work appliances and what you needed to do when leaving property but Emily quick to respond to messages. Sadly couldn't access the nice chair and table on balcony to have breakfast in sun. TV in bedroom not near plug or aerial and impossible to move furniture due to back injury. No ironing board and at least two of the rooms had iron marks on carpet where previous residents obviously struggled Also limited towels left out for 3 adults and some of the kitchen equipment not clean but easily resolved once we purchased a sponge and washing up liquid Reasonable price for location, and the fact it has free parking on site, will be fab if the few minor issues resolved "
