"My husband and I stayed at the Embassy Valletta hotel for two nights in October 2024 as part of our 20th wedding anniversary trip. It is a magical location - I cannot speak more highly of the heated outdoor infinity pool on the 7th floor which overlooks the city. "Definitely the most basic hostel I've stayed in. There are no staff and no doors on the dorms so minimal privacy. There are three floors and you need to pass through every other dorm to get to the top floor. Therefore, if you're staying on the first or second floor, people will be passing through your room to get to the floors above.
