Palazzo Consiglia - IK Collection

4.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (410)
"Nice hotel, great location, very welcoming staff. Worth noting that some rooms only have a bath tub, no shower - and our tub had a large stain which was a bit off putting. Our towels weren’t changed at all for the first few days of our stay, and there wasn’t much room to hang them to dry - but then they were changed daily on the last couple of days of the stay so perhaps they were just overlooked on the previous days. "Easy enough to find, a number X4 bus from the airport into Valletta then a 5 minute walk. 1.5 Euros for the bus Owner and staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Full english breakfast a welcome bonus to start the day off. Lovely settings for breakfast, like a step back in time, very ornate with a personal touch, you feel like you're sitting in a National Trust property. Air Con in the room worked very well. Everything was clean and the room made every day. Kettle, coffee, tea...

"Great area. Beautiful. Great bed. View was lovely. No coffee in room and had to buy 4 cups and almost $20 "
Grand Harbour Hotel

De Vilhena Boutique Hotel

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (336)
"It's on a busy restaurant street. If you are facing that road be ready for noise (either from diners / happy go lucky folks in the evening / night time as well as cleaners / garbage collectors in the morning hours. The windows don't really noise insulate well. Staff are generally friendly. Good location in old town. More of a 3* hotel than 4* but I think this star inflation is common in Malta. "
