My husband and I (both in our 60s) stayed for one night in this Marriott. In the morning I woke up and opened the curtains in the kitchen and living room. A couple hours later my husband and I packed up and left. Before I did, I videotaped the hotel room to show my friend how nice it was. A few hours later I got an email from the hotel saying I had ripped down the curtain in the kitchen and had damaged the wall and I would have to pay for it. Since I had video'd taped the room before I left, it clearly shows the curtain was up. If the curtain fell down after I left it had to be due to it's own wear and tear. I opened the curtain without any undue force. I have sent them numerous emails stating my case. On 10/14 I received a bill for over $500 for this damage. I have called my credit card company to dispute this charge. I have been a good Marriot customer and I am appalled of the harassment of the management of this hotel. The corporate headquarters said they have to take the word of their staff vs their customer

It was easy to get into venice and the front desk is really helpful and sells tickets Local italian restaurants were near by which was really helpful for us since we had a rough flight coming in and needed a break.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and well maintained. Excellent location for the Airport . Transportation arranged by desk , all went well .Additionally there is a bus to the Grand Canal in Venice right across the street . 20 minutes and 1.5 euros later we were in the City. Highly Recommended.

A pleasant option for staying right near Venice airport. Room was clean comfortable. They just need to be clearer on how to get here from the airport. Website describes a pick-up service for fee, but that’s just returning to airport. Seems unfair to ask taxi to drive 0.6 miles, so after talking to hotel I walked. They didn’t mention that sidewalk disappears 0.2 miles before, so I was literally rolling suitcase down a busy road. There’s got to be a better way! Restaurant attached (unaffiliated) was very good, large portions, but is also very small. Be aware you need to make a reservation or wait up to an hour.

Property was a two minute drive to the airport, making it super convenient. They provided a shuttle, which was an added benefit. Perfect location when you have an early flight.

Property had a surprisingly good restaurant right in the hotel. Easy access and great options and full bar. We were disappointed in the lack of shuttle options. We either had to cut it close or get there extra early as a shuttle either wasn't available or was already full. Not knowing the airport we opted to leave extra early and waited for things to open at the airport for 45 minutes.

The hotel is fine for a night before heading out on a tour. Breakfast is 20 euros for the buffet and we were told at check in the restaurant would also be open, but it wasn’t. We weren’t able to book the hourly shuttle to the airport as it was full, but we saw it come and go for other guests between the scheduled times. The front desk ordered a taxi for us and it turned out to be the same cost as the shuttle, 20 euros for four people.
