"Second time staying here.(big rooms for NYC) Love the multiple internal sitting areas with sky views. Short walk in one direction to Times Square / couple of blocks the other way and you’re sitting on a pier on the Hudson River. Easy access to buses or subways. As a single 60yr old walking around day or night I felt very safe. "

"The Equinox Hotel is a modern and convenient hotel by the river in the Upper Manhattan area. It offers great views and excellent amenities in the rooms and throughout the property. The spa service is innovative, and various sports supplements are included in the room's minibar. The interior design is chic. The gym and two pools in the hotel are amazing stops to make while you stay. "

"The hostel had an excellent staff that were attentive and helpful. Rooms were cleanly, linens were neat, and shared spaces were well maintained with frequent restroom cleaning. Food on site was fairly priced and of good quality. Check in/out was very easy. Surrounding city area was a little dirty, to no fault of the hostel, and the property itself was very clean. Lots of food options in the area for takeout and smaller dine-in locations. Close to the subway entrance and multiple bus stops for easy public transit."
