"The host is friendly / helpful and even greeted us at the front door, and gave us an apt overview upon our arrival. The space is adequate, with a bathroom on the small side, but not unexpected for Manhattan. Location is great - just a couple of blocks from the Times Square subway station, and walking distance to Broadway shows. "Loved the location, super clean, easy check in and out. great space/size, unbelievable views! Host response was great. One note: one bedroom the heat was "iffy" and had to use a space heater. I think that should be mentioned in the listing, especially in January and especially if traveling with young kids. Neighborhood was great - loved Black Seed Bagel right around the corner. And Oscar Wilde is so close, a holiday must see!"

"This is a shared apartment that means you share the apartment with others. I was confused thinking I will have a room in the apartment while kitchen and living area will be for us. But, there are 3 rooms and more people might check in while you are there. We were there and young (undergrad) people with their friends checked in thinking they can party all night. They also thought the entire apartment was for them. But communication with owner was smooth and things were taken care of. "

"My roommate and I stayed in this unit as temp living for 3 months. The unit is extremely clean and is nicely updated. The owner lives nearby and is very responsive. He was aways was quick to solve any issues that came up. Only downside is the location is about a 15 min walk to the nearest subway station but there are plenty groceries, bars, parks, etc in walking distance."

"Highly recommend booking this VRBO for your next New York City trip! The home is beautiful, spacious and had so many little extras! Drinks in the fridge, hygiene products etc. It was a short uber ride to the city. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. The host was very responsive to messages. Checked in half-way through the stay to see how things were going. Couldnt have asked for a better experience!"

"This apartment is perfect for people looking to explore NYC, having a good place to sleep in a convenient location away from the city buzz. Amazing location in a good neighborhood, walking distance to a bus stop that drops you off at NY bus terminal. It’s no more than 30 minutes door to door. "While the room itself was in good condition and the host was responsive when I arrived (2 guests) there was only one towel awkwardly hanging in the closet that was soiled and the only additional towel was in the shared kitchen cabinet (still only 1 towel) additional guests left dishes around in kitchen that smelled and upstairs neighbors had a extremely loud party that lasted until 8am!"
