"I absolutely loved the pool.Enjoyed staying there for 10 days.Now the negative.The hotel requires the guests to leave an ID in order to get towels for the pool, we left my wife’s ID and they lost it which is unacceptable. We had to leave without her ID. She‘s still very upset. "

The only cons were that the listing said it had a gym, it does not…and technically it has beachfront access, but it’s not really a beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Papi made you feel at home and has a good personality and sense of humor :) Toiletries and rooms were all clean and practically brand new and had such a good aromatic smell that made you feel like you were in paradise. "Disappointed by this rental, great layout for the house but it needs repair. The house was not very clean, it was damp, it smelled, and needs maintenance as there were several issues. The linens were stained and need to be changed for new ones. One night I took a shower and the water just stopped, mid shower! The best part of this renal are the spacious floor plan and the property manager. I would not stay here again."

"It's a very pretty condohotel on 1st Av, only a 1 minute walk to everything. Nightclub next door will be heard at night, but not overwhelming. Rooms are very small, but nicely furnished and very livable for short stays. But don't plan anything very long in an approx. 400 sq ft 1 bdrm unit."

"We loved the staff so much they were the best!!!! The view is so beautiful and spectacular from the gorgeous sandy beach. It has plenty of chairs and palm trees, you enjoy hours of sun and fun, the ocean is clear and beautiful with small fish and turtles and storks and hawks and gulls it was wonderful! Then just behind that was the bar and pool area with hours of hot folks to cool of and lounge. The our pretty room with a swim up pool and bath tube on deck was sweet for romantic nights with my wife. She loved the pillows and the bed was huge. But the best most special part was the staff and the food and the drinks. The staff makes everything so much more comfortable. Viva Barcelo staff thank you so much 💙"
