"It is very convenient to shop and transportation. The hotel is old or not good condition. The shower room is not very useful, towels hanger is too high, the toilet is not good flashing and the water sound always heard near the bed’s headboard to make sleep so hard. This is my first time to use APA hotel, the check out time no one is front counter, I just drop the room card but no explanation at the first day. I do not think I will not use APA hotel again even very good rate."

"Great place to stay. Clean and very comfortable. Conveniently close to the train station. Only downside really is that you can hear everything in the hallway. "

"Staff are very polite and helpful. Best part is the hotel is only 5 mins from JR Yamagata station, very convenient. There is also a bus terminal at the train station with buses to various attractions like Zao onsen etc. Only down part is the pillow was very flat, hence not comfortable to sleep on."

"Good hotel for it’s price. Traditional ryokan with 2 spacious onsen bath. Peaceful stay, helpful staff. Not speaking English but willing to help. No internet in the room, only in the lobby. Wish bar would work at night, was closed after 6-7pm"
