"Uotoshi Ryokan was amazing! The host was super nice, the meals were fantastic, the room was great. The area is perfect, it's a great place to get away from the city for a bit. It's a bit in the past, but in a really nice way! Our room didn't have a washroom in the room, we didn't mind. "

Hotel Housei

3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (142)
"Wonderful ryokan-style hotel. Stayed for 2 nights with half-board, and the meals (dinner and breakfast) were excellent. The staff were attentive and engaging, taking the time to introduce the dinner menu to us. Chose this place for my children's first ski experience. Just a 30-minute drive to Shiga Kogen where all the ski resorts are. The hotel offers both indoor and outdoor onsens. Simply superb for a hot, relaxing soak after a day on the ski slopes. Highly recommended! "

Wafu No Yado MASUYA

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (114)
"We had an amazing stay at Masuya. We chose the Japanese-style room with a private onsen, which was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious, clean, and beautiful. The private onsen is very nice (better than the pictures), the public onsens are also great, most of the time we had the onsens for ourselves. Dinner and breakfast were also delicious, I requested one vegetarian meal and they changed the meal accordingly. The staff was very helpful, they helped us with the...

Sportsheim Okushiga - Hostel

1.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
