"Wonderful ryokan-style hotel. Stayed for 2 nights with half-board, and the meals (dinner and breakfast) were excellent. The staff were attentive and engaging, taking the time to introduce the dinner menu to us. Chose this place for my children's first ski experience. Just a 30-minute drive to Shiga Kogen where all the ski resorts are. The hotel offers both indoor and outdoor onsens. Simply superb for a hot, relaxing soak after a day on the ski slopes. Highly recommended! "

"We had an amazing stay at Masuya. We chose the Japanese-style room with a private onsen, which was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious, clean, and beautiful. The private onsen is very nice (better than the pictures), the public onsens are also great, most of the time we had the onsens for ourselves. "男性１名での利用、初めてのスキーヤーズベッド…若干の不安を抱きながら宿泊してみました。 同室の方は２名、２段ベッド×２の部屋を３名での利用でしたが結論から申し上げると良かったです。 メシは美味い！風呂も快適 布団もフカフカ！部屋は狭いけれど清潔で、遥か昔の寮生活を思い出し楽しかった。共有スペースが２ヶ所（談話室？とミーティングルーム？）あったので眠る時以外はそこで持ち込みのワインやコーヒーでのんびり過ごせました。 …とは言え相部屋ですから気は遣います。家族や仲間４人で１部屋借りれたらきっともっと楽しいでしょう。朝食は６：３０からですからチェックアウトの日でも余裕で８時スタートの奥志賀ゴンドラに乗り込めます。１人でガンガン滑りたい方、仲間とリーズナブルに楽しみたい方にはオススメです。 機会があればまた利用したいと思います。 部屋のコンセントが少ないので電源タップや延長コードなどを持参した方が良いですよ。"
