However, there were several long, black hairs on the bed and bedside table and the bath tub had a film of dust indicating it had neither been used or wiped down for an extended period. Finally, there was no soap apart from a very small tube of body wash. One small bar soap would have been sufficient."

"This is a very good hotel. It's near a tram stop and shops and roughly halfway between St Kilda and Melbourne city centre (it's on a main road, though I wasn't disturbed by noise). The room was clean, spacious and well stocked if wanting to cook something simple. The bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was pretty good and decent value for money. Staff were very helpful. I enjoyed my stay here and would return again. "

"I liked my stay at Batman on Collins. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were well trained, very pleasant to converse with and knowledgeable about the city. If I had to say anything it would be the bathroom was very small and there was absolutely no spare room to put clothes etc because the hand basin was outside the bathroom. Otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Stayed in a king room for our anniversary. They marked the occasion with sparkling in our room when we arrived which was a lovely touch. The room was spacious and bed comfy. The biggest issue was the shower head. It drooped and was unable to be tightened to the right height. In hindsight, we probably should’ve switched rooms. Location very convenient next to train station, food and tram stops. "
