"Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Hot tub leaked all over the floor and made it dangerous to walk around. Bed was comfortable and clean. General condition of the hotel was run down. Breakfast was minimum."

"From the moment of "Check-in" until goodbye at "Check-out," we found nothing but beauty, creativity, and comfort. Being appreciative of original, natural wood beauty, my husband and I were totally fascinated at the hand-finished touch of every upward glance! "Inviting" could not describe the interior awaiting inside the convenient sliding door. Maybe most of all is the listing allows for dogs of "any size." That was a "melt of the heart." More and more owners are choosing larger dogs, and what a surprise for us to read the listing that our "fur baby" of sixty pounds could sleep beside our bed. Communication with this owner was tops--from the first note on vrbo until we sent an informed goodbye. Location, of course, was the beginning of discovering this unique home--because we wanted the extremely rare opportunity of crossing the Mississippi River by ferry. Oh, my ... is there an end to this description? Home was extremely clean, and creativity was noted in every direction. A beyond lovely, surprise gift was awaiting on the table, and our pup was not forgotten! Full-size fridge and stove made the kitchen fully functional though we treated ourselves to dining before our arrival. These hosts cannot be beaten--no exaggeration. Highly recommended! The only sad thing that can be stated is this was a one-time vacation for us, and we will not be traveling this area again. Yes, it is "Perfection!""

"The Red House is in a quiet area and was well stocked with any and everything you might need. The host even provided fresh eggs and muffins for breakfast!!! If we are ever back in the area we will stay here again."
