"It's not really within walking distance to anything, and with everything closing at 6pm there wasnt much to do in the area; the overall experience was alright, but it felt more like a "ryokan themed" inn that was tailored for foreigners so we didnt get that authentic ryokan experience; it was a decent stay nonetheless, the private onsen was good."

"The staff are wonderful and so friendly. The location is a short walk from the Gora station and there’s a lovely coffee shop at the base of the hill the hotel is on. The rooms are plenty spacious and the bar / social area is warmly lit and friendly. The other guests staying were welcoming and chatty but would give you space if needed to. And the onsen!? Amazing. The stone bath is a great size to relax in and you can book a slot for the evening before you head out in the morning, the cypress...

"It's a great stay here, friendly staff service but a bit inconvenience as it's situated at hilly terrains, especially carrying large luggages uphill by walk on our arrival. The onzen, kitchen and pantry facilities was nice and convenient. "

"Cleanest of total 6 hostel/capsules I've stayed. The property is well maintained. Nothing falling apart or looks dirty. Large sitting lounge can sit 8-10 people comfortably. Most of my 13 nites stay I see only mostly 2-4 people in there. Sometimes there is a larger group. Large CLEAN & COMFORTABLE sitting lounge, not a large cafeteria w/just tables/chairs, promotes interaction amongst people. That is what happened there. The street is a high-end(ish) Rodeo Drive -lite like street. VERY NICE...

"I didn't realize this was a hostel. Pretty bummed when I showed up at the property and realized that. Not a fan of the checkin process- very cold, impersonal, and time consuming. Though a girl finally did show up to help a bit at the end. It was close to the train station, beach, and Enoshima Island which was nice. "

"Chillulu was okay. Not spectacular, however a good enough short term stay (2 nights for me). The location in Yokohama Chinatown is hard to beat! I even tried the Cafe downstairs and it was excellent tho on the pricier side. The property itself is old, but maintained, however I need to mention how cramped I felt and the curtains and thin walls offer little from the other travelers. Good location, but I’ll stop there. "
