"Lovely hotel in easy walking distance of Cheddar Gorge and the Caves. Staff were fantastic, friendly, cheerful and very helpful. Food was excellent, ate once in the restaurant and once in the bar , service was first class. Would definitely recommend."

"Had a wonderful stay here. Staff were friendly, food was great, room & hotel was clean. My only negative is that the walls are very thin! I could here everything in the next room, from phone conversations, to using the bathroom. I expect not much can be changed as it's an old building. So my only recommendation is for people to take ear plugs! I'm glad I brought my own eye mask, as the room was bright at night with the light from outside. But overall a lovely experience, and would happily go...
