"The Great Southern Hotel was a perfect stopover between the Melbourne and Brisbane XPT rail service. It was so close to Central Station, convenient and yet full of old world charm."
"Great location next to Central station and light rail as well as Paddys Markets.
Room comfortable and quiet with good temperature controlled air conditioning.
Staff friendly and helpful but unusually didn't change towels when servicing room on 3 mornings."
"Excellent location in heart of China Town. Everything you need for a great stay in Sydney - near Central station, catch the George St tram to Circular Quay, easy walk to Darling Harbour, or just chill in a comfy room without feeling cramped. Staff were always polite and helpful."

"Hotel was beautifully situated close to train, busses and walking to key sites in Sydney. Breakfast was hearty with many options and kitchen staff was excellent; very accommodating. My microsuite was small, but had everything one would need in the small space (a microwave would have made it even better). I would definitely recommend the Song Hotel. "
Sydney Central Hotel Managed by The Ascott Limited
5/5 Excellent
"Service was great, the room was fine, housekeeping was good. The location is perfect for almost anything. Some reviews complained that the rooms were on the old side, but mine was newly furnished. The only slight minus was that the lights by the beds could not be repositioned, which caused glaring, and the light over the sink in the bathroom was aimed too far from the sink to be useful in shaving."
