"I honestly expected the room to look a little better for the price, especially since I paid for an upgrade when I got there. That upgrade did get me a room with a patio leading straight to the beach. Security was good enough that I felt safe leaving the patio unlocked, so I could walk from the beach straight to my room without going around the entire hotel through the front lobby. Everything was clean, AC worked wonderfully and I'd definitely book here again."

"Had a short but lovely getaway here for my birthday and I was wonderfully impressed! The food at Infusion del Golfo is great, the service across all areas of the resort is top-notch and the villa we stayed in was absolutely lovely. And it's just beautiful, an easy drive into Rocky Point itself but nice and quiet and safe and private if you don't want to venture too far."

"Unfortunately the unit we stayed at this year was not as expected; the sliding doors were almost impossible to open and close, towel hooks were off the walls, and the appliances old. The AC made a huge noise. It was disappointing. Opalo D905 owner/s please upgrade to the 5 star resort standards. "

"It was our first time visiting Pen̈asco and everything in the hotel was very good, very clean, excellent service at the front desk, all the staff very attentive and friendly, they answered all our questions about locations with great kindness, very safe and we were able to park our car with security, the only drawback is that they don't have good wifi, even so I will back to that hotel on my next visit"

"The elevators are miserable and ridiculously hot with no AC. Super common in most of the hotels in Puerto Penasco. The property itself is adorable and has a wonderful restaurant attached to it with excellent service. The rooms are amazing and amenities are plentiful. The only complaint I have is that it is very hard to get to your room and they don’t assist with checkout so you have to go hunt someone down to help you. Everything else was excellent"

"This place was soo pretty! Very modern and close to the beach. If you are going with a big group the rooms beds are great, but the sofa/bed is the size of a Full bed or smaller incase you are expecting it to be close to a queen size mattress. Overall the place was great for 7 people."

"Initially we were told that the pool was heated then we couldn’t use it bc it was dirty, then we just couldn’t use it bc they couldn’t fix it then it was never heated. That’s fine. I was told there was a heater day one and we never found it and they had no blankets just a throw in two rooms. Then I was told they had no heat we were freezing to the point I got sick. We had to buy blankets bc it was too late to cancel and get a new room. Besides the house being nice that’s the only good otherwise...

"Security gaurds were bothering people at pool area constantly telling them no water coolers were allowed even if people were not drinking anything. Multiple people, multiple times you would walk up to pool from the beach and would force you to go drop off cooler to the rooms"
