"I cannot say enough good things about my stay at Grand Palace. I could focus on my beautiful and spacious room that backed up right to the pool. I could focus on the good food at the restaurant. I could focus on how comfortable the bed was. However, that would make me fall far short of what makes this a truly great stay. The staff. The folks that work at Grand Palace are truly beautiful people. Exceptionally kind. Giving. Caring. I was there for a month and got to talk with many on their team for long stretches, and everyone was incredibly friendly and warm. From the spa to the front desk to housekeeping and to the parking lot attendants, I felt so welcomed while on my solo journey stop around the world here in Bali. I hope to be back someday. "This was the last stop on my two week stay in Bali. The resort is beautiful, with top-notch eco friendly finishes. Stunning pool and a quiet/ clean beach. My suite was spacious and luxurious, couldn’t ask for more. Received a warm welcome from the time l arrived. Ade, Bas and Fal were the Resort Ambassadors that provided commendable hospitality during my stay. Not forgetting all the restaurant staff. Actually, all the staff that l interacted with were kind, warm and respectful. I even had time to enjoy a delightful spa treatment. "Great resort for those with kids. Kids club and pools are staffed by friendly people who genuinely love interacting with the kids. Only downside is the distance from the beach - although only a 10-15min walk by adults, it’s challenging to walk with small kids on the busy roads which are shared by cars, scooters, motorcycles and pedestrians. "Loved the beach club and managed to enjoy the seafood BBQ which was delicious. On arrival was given a voucher for afternoon tea of tea & cakes. Lovely pools and poolside service, cocktails and food where I was able to wait for a late flight. The bar staff were knowledgeable and efficient, the porters and concierge were exceptional and they went above and beyond to make this a wonderful stay.
