"My only complaint about Pod39 is that the outlets above the desk never seem to work. I always have to climb under the desk to use the outlets to charge my phone and other electronic devices. As a senior, that’s not very convenient."

I chose this hotel because it is located near the Staten Island Ferry and wanted to walk there the next morning at 5:00 am to take the ferry to the NYC Marathon. When I arrived at the Radisson the front desk told me that my booking was transferred to the Holiday Inn Lower East Side approximately 5 trains stops away. "It was actually really nice, I loved that it was so close to the subway station and had restaurants all around! didn’t have to worry about food and transportation. One thing I do wanna see improvement is their showers, it’s so tiny! Not made for bigger people. "
