"Outstanding hotel in every way except not being fully made aware of the service charge being added to my bill until after it had gone through on my card. Bit disappointed as this was not made absolutely clear at time of check in. Can not fault anything else."

"We were moved to a different property, which turned out to be just fine. The location was great, the property had a nice recreation suite with a pool table and TVs as well as a nice pool. It was convenient to mid-town Nashville and very easy to get in and out of for site seeing and all around visit to Nashville."

"Beautifully decorated, staff was excellent and the restaurant breakfast is not to be missed. Had a minor issue with the bed being too soft to be comfortable for me but other than that I loved my stay. "

"Nice hotel in a great location. It is across from the convention center. Room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Area around the hotel was nice. A few things to note, the valet parking sign said $35, but I ended up paying $62. There’s was a $20 urban amenities fee?? and taxes. Didn’t know about that until I got my bill. Also charged for internet, $19. I didn’t know that either until I got my bill. Not sure where these items were listed when I booked the room. "

"What a wonderful experience! We chose the Read House due to convenience and reputation during the Ironman Chattanooga weekend. So impressive! Helpful and knowledgable staff, beautiful building, excellent amenities. I would highly recommend this historic hotel and if I come back again for the Ironman I'll stay here again!"
