This is a stunning hotel in a beautiful historic building. The restaurant is amazing and quality service all around. The only downside was the room was really lacking some amenities like coat hangers and space in the bathroom to put your belongings.

Very elegant hotel in Dunedin. Our junior suite room was very comfortable with excellent bed and shower. The hotel staff was very helpful. 5 stars!

Nice bar/restaurant area. Room reasonable size and well appointed. However, the lift to the odd numbered floors only runs from 8am to 8pm - if you're on the 7th floor and want to leave early or check in late, good luck. In addition, the rooms on the top floor only have a small window high in the wall so you can't really see out at all - avoid them. Finally, no phones in the room so there is a complicated IPad system that they spend a long time explaining when you check in.

I had a wonderful stay at Fable Dunedin. The staff were welcoming, helpful and kind. I pre-booked the valet car parking service which made travel very convenient. The facilities are beautiful and the room is stunning. I booked just the Classic room but it exceeded expectations in cleanliness, amenities and style. I would love to stay again.

Always stay here during my travel for work. It’s quality in all areas and nice and quiet after a long drive. My only query is around the lucky dip on the size of the room you get. I’ve been in both options and the smaller room is quite small compared to the rest. Maybe there is options within the room rate perhaps
