"An absolute gem of a pub. The room was tastefully decorated with lots of extra little touches, like tea lights in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the claw foot bath was gorgeous, with toiletries provided and piping hot water. Perhaps a flannel to wash with would be good and the bottom of our mugs were tea stained which was a bit off-putting but that’s all I’d be picky about. "Booked me the wrong type of room. Changed it but the place was really dirty. Plug sockets didn’t work so couldn’t charge phone. Shower mouldy. Floor in front of toilet rotten to the point of collapse. What I can only describe as blood and nosedirt wipes on side of divan. Hairs in the bed. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in by a long way. A total dump. I’d ask for a refund but I can’t be bothered as everyone who stays there must ask for one and I can only assume they never give them otherwise they...
