"This has to be one of the most unique stays in Iceland. If you’re considering booking it, you absolutely should. The view is incredible - you can see Icelandic horses, a mountain, and hot springs all from the top floor. The owner is very kind and accommodating, even offered to show us around the stables. "Great wee place. Nice and quiet and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Host was very kind in leaving local food and a bit of milk to get you going ( great idea for a cup of tea). Also has a chap of the door where I kind man gave me half a dozen fresh eggs. They were lovely and the eggs looked like what I used to see as a kid- white, brown and light blue. "Pretty big condo style apartment with basic utilities. Buses in the area stops early so if you need to come back to the hotel after 8pm be ready to walk a long trek (from the train station) or to pay extra for a taxi. It is located in a residential area so there are no activities and few restaurants. However there is a grocercy store not too far. The access is secured and the host was super friendly.
