"Probably the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in in the uk. Location was perfect 30 secs walk from train station and 10 min walk straight into city centre. We had the best views from our room straight out over the garden and city and the catherdral. Room was huge and comfortable. The whole hotel was glorious and staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was yummy I would definitely come back here again . "

"I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time as I wanted to park my car before heading off to my engagement. The receptionist was able to book me into a room early which was really useful. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. "We stayed for 2 nights the staff were great always happy and polite, a man called chris was very helpful when we wanted to go onto york centre he ordered us a taxi and gave us a card of the firm they use which was way cheaper than a uber,the room was clean,tidy and warm for us which was a nice welcoming on a cold day i would definitely recommend for a stay"
