Wisterian Life Club Verde no Mori

3.5 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (330)
"Loved the onsen and fitness room area, large spacious room and comfy traditional outfits to wear around. As mentioned in other reviews, don’t expect to eat without a reservation made days in advance— however there are a few options at Yannusen next door ( 5 min walk). Laundry wouldn’t dry in the dryer at all after 2 hrs, best to hang it up! Overall we enjoyed our stay."

Kinokuniya Ryokan

3.5 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (40)
"The dinner alone gets a lot of points. Easily some of the best food I have ever had at a ryokan. The Men’s Onsen is a bit small outdoors. It was difficult to get my large western body (5’10”, 185lb) in the outdoor pool. The indoor pool was nice. The biggest problem is the old wooden floors. Upstairs neighbors had kids and I got virtually no rest. The tranquil atmosphere of autumn in the mountains of Japan was disturbed by little giants trampling overhead. Overall, great place, but I hope you...
