"We had a fantastic stay at Yamagaso. We were able to drop our bags off at the main hotel so we could go sightseeing before check-in. Dinner was a delicious kaiseki meal served in our room. It was great having our own private bath in our villa with hot spring water. Our host Momo-san was sweet and very helpful. If we ever return to Hakone we would love to stay here again. "

"Such a nice place to relax and take a moment to enjoy where you are. Food was amazing and staff made you feel at home. Was one of my favourite places to stay. Bed was a little too hard for my partner but good for me. You wear your traditional Japanese pajamas throughout the hotel which added to feeling relaxed. I would recommend private onsen, I used it so much and so glad we opted for it."

"Beautiful place to stay, next to river. Loved hearing the water stream from my room. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was Japanese style, not my type but had variety and very clean."

"Historical property in stunning settings, Staff is kind and very helpful Miss Park we loved your kindness.Beautiful property grounds ,excelent food choices.The bed and pillows were so comfortable i slept my best in the last 10 years . I bought their pillows and taking them back to California ,then ordering the mattress from home. We will return to stay at least a week next time. Thank you for making our trip very special."

"Frühstück: westliches und asiatisches Frühstück mit leckeren asiatischen Spezialitäten Gäste: fast nur Asiaten, keine Europäer, wenig Amerikaner Zimmer: für japanische Verhältnisse große Zimmer, etwas in die Jahre gekommen Freizeit: Fitness, Badelandschaft, Sauna und Onsen super ( am Wochenende sehr voll) Hotel abseits mit tollem Blick auf das Meer. Shuttle Bus zur Odawara Station ( einmal stündlich) keine Essens - oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Gehweite. Supermarkt im Hotel vorhanden. Essen...
