Casa Colonial was very a authentic way to see and experience Old Havana. It was a charming home, the bedroom was in the 2nd floor with lots of stairs in order to get to the room. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The host was very friendly and helpful with questions. They had cable which was great because we were able to see GOT!!! The only issue was the bed and pillows which were a bit tired, otherwise I would recommend anyone that is willing and able to climb stairs to stay and experience Cuba outside of their comfort zone.

Minizimmer (ca. 3 x 3 m mit ca. 1,85 m "Stehhöhe") im 2. OG des Hauses, nur ein kleines Fenster mit Holzlamellen und Blick auf benachbartes Ruinengrundstück. Kaum Tageslicht und stickige Luft. Schade, dass man uns nicht ein anderes freies Zimmer gegeben hat! In der Umgebung viele sehr stark verfallene (und dennoch bewohnte) Häuser und einzelne recht nette Restaurants. - Positiv: die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt sind aiuf kurzem Weg zu Fuß erreichbar. Detta var vårat sista boende på Cuba (6st olika) och vi hade nog större förväntningar på renligheten då vi jämför med dom andra boenden som vi har haft under vår vistelse. Vi hade ett rum högst upp på terassen så även om rummet och toaletten var liten så funkade det någorlunda bra tack vare terrassen, och hade det inte funnit en terrass så hade det nog varit katastrof. Att tänka på 51 smala trappsteg till terrassen.

Een prima verblijf voor een paar dagen Havana. De straat zelf lijkt in eerste instantie erg vervallen, maar het ligt dicht bij het oude centrum. De kamers in de casa zijn basic maar schoon.

Extraordinary hospitality
The location of the place in old Havana is excellent!, close to restaurants, bars, touristic attractions and super safe neighborhood. The host hospitality is extraordinary, they are very kind and warm people. The breakfast was awesome!!!. It was simply an amazing experience. Definitively I will go back.

We all loved the fact that we could feel like we were justing spending time with family. The owners are very nice and always did all they could to make sure all were just fine and right. For me all was ok but for my children the internet was the only big hard time, but considering we were in Cuba for me it was just fine.
