"The hostel is very good itself! The staff is very nice and is easy to communicate with. The activities are also a big plus. However, during my 6 nights stay, I had two louder nights. Not from outside or from younger people having fun, but from elderer people. If the maximum age would be 40 or 45, it would've been a nicer stay and the atmkspehere would've been more fun."

"This is the real Hawaii! The property is located in a relatively remote area about 30 minutes south of Pahoa. Beautiful setting in the middle of a forest not too far from the beach. Isaac Hale Park is within walking distance and although the beach isn’t very safe for swimming there is a pond there that you can swim in. It was perfect for my needs however I don’t see people staying here that require more of an upscale type of setting. "First, this property is cool if you know what you are getting into. This is way off the off the grid living. You are staying on a lava field in a shipping container. That is the cool part. It is remote, and just wow for sunset and sunrise. The host, Ron, was nice and communicated well. The location on VRBO makes it appear on Chain of Craters road just near the famed sea arch in Volcanoes National park - a big reason we picked it.
