"Staff were amazing, room was beautiful and very well kept. Would only have to comment on the light shining through the bathroom window all night from the storage area outside, and the shower cubicle wasn't very clean (moldy grout, mold on shower fittings), but the room itself was very modern and warm. We stayed in room 9, which was dog friendly. It was located on the ground floor, right near the entrance to the pub, I was worried we would be able to hear everything going on but I can't say that...

"Our first time at this place. In general the lodge was nice with everything you need. Wee comments: It had electric heating which didn't manage to cope with weather outside, so the lodge was as cosy/warm as it should be. Also the lack of thermostat meant that temperature couldn't be controlled. No proper heating in the bathrooms Kitchen seems to be renovated recently but for some some reason they decided to install old fashioned electric hob, instead of modern induction ones, two problems...

"Stayed one night only. The room was comfortable. Even though the heating was not on due to it supposedly being summer, as the room was a little cold we were able to turn on an electric wall heater to take the chill off the room & a blow heater in the bathroom. The quality and pricing of food and drink in the bar were excellent. The cooked breakfast was included, which was also delicious. Would definitely stay again."
