"Prince Smart Inn Atami was perfect for a 2 night stop over by the sea during my Japanese holiday, i used the hotel for a seaside break on my way from Nagasaki to Tokyo. located conveniently for the bus/railway station and shopping. the rooms are stunning, very modern, comfortable and outfitted with all you need for a short stay. my only slight comment is if your tastes are western for breakfast, this may not be for you as the breakfast was traditional Japanese, with no western option (but that is a me problem, not a hotel problem), there is a 7-11 3 minutes walk away though. all in all, an amazing, modern, hotel conveniently located. book it; you won't be dissapointed."

"The property was perfectly located by the lake surrounded by nature and within walking distance to buses, the ropeway and cruise ships. Our twin room with open air bath was exceptionally clean and our room, along with the rest of the property, had all the amenities you needed, of a high standard. The only downside were the meals. Being a little isolated, the accommodation rate includes a breakfast and dinner buffet, however despite the extensive menu, they fail to provide any hot vegetable dishes… not ideal for non meat eaters. Regardless, we still recommend a stay at this beautiful spot on the lake."

"What an excellent space for a quiet vacation. It's a bit far from shopping but they have free shuttle to go to Gora station or to Sounzan station. Room is spacious in the newer annex building. A little pricey but it is luxurious."

"Absolutely wonderful experience. Close to a park, very well maintained facilities with lots to do: from great onsen, riding bicycles to delicious food. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the noise of big city."

"This hotel is just wonderful. A great view of the mountains and a nice break to relax in between Osaka and Tokyo. Would definitely recommend and would come back! The food was also delicious and the staff was very attentive to our family and kids!"
