"Perfect base for our four night stay in Kyoto, very close to the station and shopping, but very quiet. We would definitely stay again if we returned to the area."

"I really liked this hotel. The location can’t be beat. Probably 1,000 restaurants and hundreds of shopping stores within a 5-10 walk. JR station a couple of minutes walk. 7 11 and Mc Donalds right there. This hotel is old and signage stated they will be closing in January to be replaced with something way more expensive I bet. Enjoy a bit of history and enjoy the location and lower price. "

"It was very close to Universal Studios, the buffet food was delicious, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the bathroom and shower water were especially good. There was a convenience store right below the hotel, so it was very convenient."
