"Upon entering the Abazzia after a short walk (5 mins) from the train terminal we were greeted warmly by Matteo. He checked us in early, and explained everything clearly. He was a funny and charismatic host which is what you want in any hotel. The room was beautifully appointed In the old Venetian style, and was clean and comfortable. The hidden gem was the included breakfast which was incredible. Conveniently located and short walk to everything, this is a must add to your hotel list "

"Just superb. The rooms were comfortable , the breakfast more than excellent and the best part was the vaporetto into Venice stops in front of the hotel. The lounge area in the front of the hotel is super comfy. Murano has a lot of shopping, and once the tourists are gone it is very quiet with still lots to do. "

"It was located perfectly, for me I don’t like to be in the city so, finding a hotel that is closed to trains, bus, subways, streetcar, etc is importance for me and this one was! A 20minute ride on the train to Venice (surprisingly trains were on time for most of the time). So if you are like me then this is a great place! "

Google maps put us in the back of the hotel but someone who worked at the hotel knew we were confused and pointed us in the right direction. I would definitely use this hotel again. "I have stayed at Mandarin Oriental hotels in Shanghai , Madrid, and Bangkok, and I have been lucky enough to stay at the Savoy in London. I’m headed to the George the V Four Seasons in Paris to join my wife. Several months ago I stayed at the Four Seasons Budapest. The Baglioni Luna hotel is an absolute jewel , and the price for the service and facilities cannot be beaten. The staff was magnificent as was the included breakfast. It is clearly one of my favorite hotels."

"I was upgraded to double room with a canal view. Room was spacious and very elegant. What stood out were the staff and service. Everyone was polite, gracious and went out of their way to help. That made it a 5 star experience. I will definitely stay there again the next time I’m in Venice."
