"The most perfect Christmas get away. Gorgeous cosy cottage and absolutely loved the roof terrace for star gazing. Quiet village but everything we needed. Easy to drive over to the coast and great local pubs. Super communication from host and the cottage was immaculate with everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much we had a very peaceful and relaxing Christmas away"

"Absolutely superb from initial booking to leaving(didnt want to leave).Lynne is a great host nothing was to much absolutely recommend this property, everything was spot on.Nice welcome basket,Durham 15 mins away,great shopping centre 10 mins away, couple of pubs(never used)working mens club(very friendly)Would not hesitate to use Lynnes property again."

"The cabin is far from as described and overpriced for the condition and cleanliness. The state of repair is poor - furniture both outside and inside is dated and in places broken. Hot tub had a dirty foam on the top - must have been used with fake tan/make up previously. The only good thing is that the owner is responsive and has said replacements have been made since our stay."

"Great location and very modern. I like a traditional feel more than the modern but it had everything one needed. However, there was less than 1 role of toilet paper between both bathrooms combined and no soap or shampoo, napkins, paper towels, dish brushes or clothes wash so come prepared. Also, the garbage outside was filled to overflowing before we arrived and we were unable to clean up our kitchen. Apparently, per the neighbor, this is an ongoing problem. The beds were a little uncomfortable....
