Our room was the type that has a 'backyard' with our own hot spring (think jacuzzi with a water fall feature, surrounded by plants and flowers, and heated by a volcano). "We stayed 3nights at Hotel Arenal Parasio resort and spa during Christmas holidays. Though property has excellent amenities like pools, bar, restaurants, and hots springs, the actual rooms are very old and dated. Many issues with room itself. Floors and bath rooms are stained and looks dirty due to lack of maintenances. "We strongly recommend Brisas Arenal for families. The property is absolutely beautiful. We did not have time to walk the grounds, but it was impeccably maintained with lots of flowers. We also saw a sign for a trail connected to the property (?), but did not have time to ask for further details/check it out.
