"Our stay was short but amazing. Our host made us feel at home. The house and rooms are charming and had everything we needed. The grounds are great and inviting. We had a little rain but still enjoyed the birds and the quiet atmosphere. The views on to the city and sky tower are perfect. Walking to dinner was not a problem and we had awesome Cambodian food at Tinfenys in the ponsonby central food court."

"We stayed for 1 night (New Years Eve) as we were eating nearby with friends and it was very convenient to stay here and get a good night sleep. Had a lovely view of Auckland city and the sky tower. No parking on site though and so had to park on a side street further away as there was no parking on the road in front of the place either. "

Toilet seat was loose, shower was fantastic but needs an updating with new clean tiles etc all around and shelf for shampoo's etc. Carpet needs cleaning and kitchen facilities needs attending too. Bigger cups and spoons to stir your tea and tea towels. More milk and tea,coffee. My Television did not work either. But I got a very good sleep."

"Unfortunately, there were 2 cancelled flights the day we stayed, which meant lots of travellers staying. Kitchen clearly understaffed, a lot of diners waiting more than 1. 5 hours after ordering, to get meals We waited 1.5 hours, and whilst my meal was delivered, my partner’s meal was forgotten. The staff were clearly swamped and apologetic, and agreed not to charge us for my meal or drinks. My impression was that the place was lightly staffed as it was a public holiday, probably to save paying...
